"Harvest Festival by day. Great Harvest Glow by night!" That's how Swans Trail Farms promotes its 2026 season on its own festival page. It's a slogan, and it also lines up with what changed across the valley. This year, two of the farms off Highway 9 and Marsh Road launched new attractions that only run after dark. The farms also kept parking, pumpkin fields, and food areas outside the paid wristband. A weekend afternoon in the corn maze is now the most expensive way to do the season, and on October weekends the hardest ticket to get.
What Opened After Sunset This Year
Swans Trail calls The Great Harvest Glow "new this year." A wagon takes you out to thousands of glowing pumpkins and nighttime displays, and then you walk a path of roughly half a mile. Glow runs Friday through Sunday, with Thursday nights added in October, from 5 to 9:30 p.m. On Glow nights, some attractions, food and drink, and the Country Store stay open later.
At Thomas Family Farm, the new addition is Fun Park After Dark. It's billed as family-friendly and no-scare, and it runs Friday and Saturday nights until 10 p.m. The farm lists gem mining, kids' paintball, a giant slide, mini golf, and trikes among the activities. This matters because Thomas's nights used to lean on scare attractions. Nightmare on 9, Haunted Town, and Zombie Paintball still run after dark, along with a night corn maze. Fun Park After Dark gives younger kids something to do at night too.
Those two join the evening options the valley already had. Here they are side by side:
| Farm | After-dark option | Nights | Listed price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Swans Trail Farms | The Great Harvest Glow, new in 2026 | Fri–Sun, plus Thursdays in October, 5–9:30 p.m. | $28.95 Fri/Sat, $24.95 Thu/Sun, ages 2–64 |
| Thomas Family Farm | Fun Park After Dark, new in 2026 | Fri & Sat, 6–10 p.m. | $15 |
| Thomas Family Farm | Night corn maze | Fri & Sat 6–11 p.m., Sun 6–9 p.m. | Separate ticket |
| Bob's Corn & Pumpkin Farm | Night Maze | See farm schedule | $21.95 weekdays, $23.95 weekends |
| Stocker Farms | Reserved campfire sites | Select days and nights | Reservation plus admission for each guest |
Thomas's posted night schedule includes a few date-specific exceptions, and its night corn maze takes its last entry 45 minutes before close. Check the hours page for your night before you drive out.
The Glow price makes more sense as an add-on. If you already have a Swans Trail daytime ticket, adding Glow costs $19.95, and seniors get 50% off. Thomas's night pricing compares the same way. Night Fun Park admission is $15, against $24.50 for weekend daytime Fun Park admission for ages 4 and up.
How Much of Each Farm Is Free
A short evening visit works because much of each farm is open without a wristband.
- Thomas Family Farm. Entering the farm, parking, the pumpkin patch, the food court, the beer garden, and the general store don't require paid admission. After dark, the night pumpkin patch, food court, and general store also stay free to access.
- Swans Trail Farms. U-pick apples, pumpkins, and select food locations are free to enter. Wristbands and add-ons cover the attractions.
- Craven Farm. The Farm Shop, food stands, and beer garden stay open to visitors without a wristband. Only the wristband areas need one.
That means a Thursday stop for pumpkins and dinner at Swans Trail, or a Friday walk through the Thomas pumpkin patch, can cost nothing at the gate. Paid tickets come in only when you add the maze, the Fun Park, or the Glow.
Why the Weekend Afternoon Costs More
At every farm, a weekend daytime visit costs more and takes more planning than a weekday. Here's how the 2026 prices compare:
- Stocker Farms: $19.95 weekday and $27.95 weekend when bought in advance. At the farm, those rise to $23.95 and $32.95.
- Bob's Corn & Pumpkin Farm: $19.95 weekday and $28.95 weekend, with $5 added to tickets bought at the farm.
- Swans Trail Farms: $16.95 weekday and $24.95 weekend for ages 2 to 64. Seniors pay $8.98 and $12.98.
- Craven Farm: wristbands are $15 weekday and $20 weekend online, or $18 and $24 at the farm.
The weekend premium runs from $5 at Craven to $9 at Bob's per person, before taxes and fees. Buying at the gate costs more again. The bigger catch is getting in at all. Bob's requires advance online tickets, with no exceptions on October weekends. Swans Trail says October weekends sell out. If a time slot is sold out online, it won't sell extra tickets for that slot at the gate. Craven sells tickets by date and arrival time. At Stocker, the time on your ticket is your earliest arrival, not a set exit time, and everyone has to be in by 5 p.m.
Daytime is still where this year's new mazes and play areas are, and they're worth seeing on a weekday:
- Stocker's 2026 corn maze art is a Ronald McDonald House design. The fall farm benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington and Alaska.
- Bob's 12-acre maze is themed "Forever a Farm," and the Corn Crib is new this year.
- Craven's maze is Alice-in-Pumpkinland Chapter 4, and the Hayground Play Area is new. Craven is open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Drive In Has Changed
Many of these farms are reached by Highway 9 and Marsh Road, and that corridor is under construction. WSDOT's SR 9 Marsh Road to 2nd Street project is a three-year job. It widens SR 9 between Marsh Road and Second Street, builds a new southbound bridge over the Snohomish River, and restores and repaints the existing bridge. Both directions of traffic are currently shifted to the east side of SR 9 north of the Marsh Road intersection.
Lowell-Snohomish River Road changed most recently. WSDOT says traffic there will alternate near SR 9 beginning Sept. 30, and drivers should expect delays. If you remember the full closure The Everett Herald reported in August, WSDOT's later advisory describes alternating traffic instead. The agency also says the project may bring partial closures of Marsh Road and Airport Way and nightly ramp or mainline closures on SR 9 at points during construction. That last item matters most for evening visits. A 9 p.m. drive home is exactly when a nightly closure could apply, so check the project page before you head out.
The Three Weeks That Remain
Today is Sunday, October 11. Most of the season wraps up by the first weekend of November:
- Thursdays, October 15, 22, and 29. These are the remaining October Thursdays when Swans Trail adds Glow nights, 5 to 9:30 p.m., at the lower $24.95 price for ages 2 to 64.
- Thursday, October 29, through Sunday, November 1. Thomas Family Farm's last week. All night activities, food service, and the beer garden run Thursday through Sunday, 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Sunday and 6 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Zombie Paintball is open that Sunday.
- Saturday, October 31. The last day of Stocker's fall festival and of Swans Trail's Harvest Festival and Glow. Craven Farm runs Trick-or-Treat from noon until the candy runs out. Downtown, First Street Trick or Treat runs from 3 to 5 p.m. Walkers head west on First Street's north side and east on the south side, police staff key intersections, and some crosswalks close temporarily. St. John's Episcopal Church at 913 Second Street hosts a free spooky organ concert with candy during the same two hours.
- Sunday, November 1. Craven's Great Pumpkin Smash. Each paid wristband includes one smash, and extra sessions are $5. It's also Craven's last festival day.
Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, so the downtown trick-or-treat lands on the closing day at Stocker and Swans Trail, with Thomas's nights running one more evening after it. Earlier this year we wrote about how the same downtown blocks ran two countdowns in August. October 31 is a similar overlap. Families can do First Street from 3 to 5 p.m. and still reach a farm before the night attractions open at 6. For more on the valley around town, see our Snohomish neighborhood page.
